The editors of Kazakh journalist Dmitry Shishkin examined the registers of patent documents of the World Intellectual Property Organization Patentscope, the European Patent Office Espacement, as well as the Kazakhstan Patent Database, where among the patent holders there are famous people in our country.
According to the channel, Kuandyk Bishimbayev, whose trial is now being watched by the whole country, is an economist by training, but, as it turned out, he is also the author of two patent certificates in the field of the chemical industry.
In general, the Bishimbayev family has many patented inventions. Among the patent holders: mother Almira Nurlybekova, aunt Gauhar Bishimbayeva, but the father has the most patents – ex-Mazhilis deputy, academician Valikhan Bishimbayev is listed as a co-author of 147 patents. Kuandik Bishimbaev co-authored two inventions. The first is a method of biological wastewater treatment. The invention relates to the treatment of industrial, municipal and domestic wastewater containing chlorides and phosphates.
