Actors Kanchan Mallick and Pinky Banerjee’s divorce has been finalized after much controversy. It is known that on January 10, the Indian court ruled in favor of their divorce.
A few years ago, Kanchan-Pinky’s married life got stormy. They filed complaints against each other at the police station. A series of accusations and counter-accusations continued for several days.
Meanwhile, news spread in Tollywood that Kanchan is involved in ‘Parakiya’ with small screen actress Srimayi Chattraj. Since then the couple started living separately.
Critics say the actor’s ‘alienation’ is responsible for Kanchan-Pinki’s split. Later they approached the court seeking divorce from each other.
Finally, the legal separation of the couple was completed last month. There are also reports in Tollywood that Kanchan had to pay Pinky a huge amount of money to get a divorce.
When an Indian media contacted Kanchan in this regard, he did not agree to comment much. His brief response, ‘The news is true. I don’t want to say anything more than that.’ On the other hand, Pinky said, ‘Yes. We are divorced. I’m busy with work. I’m fine.’ Kanchan-Pinky’s son Osh is not yet an adult. So for now the court has allowed him to stay with his mother.
Currently, Pinky is busy shooting for the serial ‘Swayansiddha’ and ‘Constable Manju’. He has also opened his own YouTube channel. On the other hand, Uttarpara MLA Kanchan is now often seen with Srimoy at various parties in Talipara.
The actress is also seen posting pictures on social media with Kanchan. The news that Kanchan wants to start a new life with Srimayi has been heard for a long time in Tolipara. But there was the obstacle of divorce. Their fans are waiting to see if Kanchan-Shrimayi will get married in the coming days.
