West Bengal’s popular actor Kanchan Mallick has recently been widely discussed and criticized while on the verge of marriage for the third time. That is why Trinamool Congress candidate Kalyan Banerjee dropped him from the car in Srirampur during the election campaign.

On Thursday (April 25) morning, Srirampur’s three-time outgoing Member of Parliament Kalyan came out to campaign in front of Trinamool’s party office at Konnagar’s Station Road. Objective: To carry out intensive public relations in Konnagar Navagram Panchayat area.

Later, Kalyan Banerjee said, “I don’t know whether Kanchan Mallick is demented or not.” I have preached about him many times before. But when Kanchan goes out with me, the women of the village are ‘reacting’ very much.

Kalyan also said, I told Kanchan earlier, don’t come to the village. Why is it only with me in the campaign? He is an MLA, he can campaign himself. It’s not doing that. I am contesting elections. You have to understand people’s mind. I am not for individuals, I am for the collective people. I for one cannot hurt the collective.

Actor Kanchan Mallick has not yet responded to this issue. However, party workers said that Kanchan returned to Kolkata from there.

The Trinamool Congress of Hooghly district has informed about this incident that such behavior is not supported by the party. Because of such usage, the morale of the party workers is broken.
