Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in the series ‘The Bear’, will play the iconic American singer Bruce Springsteen in the biographical film ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’, the specialized media Deadline reported this Monday.
The 20th Century Studios and Disney project will be directed and written by Scott Cooper (‘The Pale Blue Eyes’, 2022) and will focus on a “crucial moment” in the life of the singer known as The Boss.
The film will be based on the book ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska’from the writer and musician Warren Zanesand will continue the creation of ‘Nebraska’ (1982), an album marked by a strong social denunciation and considered one of the best of all time by critics.
The agreement was made public after Springsteen’s concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, which took place this Sunday night and in which the directors of 20th Century Studios were present, David Greenbaum y Steve Asbell.
The project has the participation of Springsteen and his manager Jon Landauwhich will facilitate access to the rights to the music of the 74-year-old singer, author of songs such as ‘Born in the USA’ or ‘Dancing in the Dark’.

Allen White is going through a good streak in his career thanks to his performance as Chef Carmy in the FX series ‘The Bear’, which allowed him to be crowned best actor at awards such as the Golden Globes, the Emmys and the SAGs.
