The court included more than two dozen companies, land, buildings and apartments in the preliminary measure.

According to the court’s decision, Soukup acknowledged its debt to the company, but did not respond to pre-lawsuit calls, wrote Deník N. He didn’t even take steps to repay the debt.

The court initially refused to issue a preliminary injunction in July, but at the end of the year decided that Soukup does not have the will to fulfill the debt and that he and his company are passive in relation to the repayment obligation. In addition, according to the court, Soukup sold half shares in the companies Médea and Empresa to Jan Čermák.

The court also according to Diary N he suspected that Soukup was transferring the property he acquired through business to his family members. So he included Soukup’s son’s apartment in the preliminary measure.

According to the court, Soukup “does not have the will” to pay the debt, so it blocked his property, including the luxury apartment, which he transferred to his son, Deník N.

Purchase: An easily resolved dispute

Soukup itself, however, denies that the difficulties are of a more extensive nature. “It’s a relatively easy dispute to resolve. I have no doubts about success“, he told the server Soukup.

Čermák said that representatives of the Havas Media company are discussing a solution. Denik N further wrote that Čermák was supposed to acquire a share in the company IMP, but due to a preliminary measure, it is not possible to transfer the share in the company.

“We are negotiating with Havas about a broader solution that would also include IMP, where a preliminary measure now prevents the transfer of the share from Jaromír Soukup to me, but also the resolution of other relations between Havas Media and Jaromír Soukup,” stated Čermák. He added that he believed an agreement would be reached within a few weeks.

Soukup and Čermák own Barrandov TV, which recently dealt with disconnection from electricity due to unpaid debts. In this case, the court decided with a preliminary measure in their favor, so the company of billionaire Tomáš Chrenko had to resume electricity supplies.
