‘I’m alive’: Poonam Pandey’s video message a day after news of death

The news of Bollywood actress and model Poonam Pandey’s death due to cancer was circulating in India since last day, but today she denied these news by appearing on her social media.

Poonam Pandey shared a video, in which she said that she did all this for cervical cancer awareness.

Poonam Pandey wrote: ‘I am here, alive. Cervical cancer did not affect me but sadly this disease kills thousands of women who are ignorant about it and do not know how to deal with it.’

He said in his video message that ‘unlike other cancers, cervical cancer is completely curable with the help of early diagnosis and vaccines.’

Poonam Pandey appealed to empower each other and ensure that every woman knows about the disease.

Cervical is actually ovarian cancer, which can be cured with early diagnosis.

Indian media was expressing concern over the news of Poonam Pandey’s death from cervical cancer since yesterday. According to Indian media, since this news, no member of his family could be contacted.

However, the news of Poonam Pandey’s ‘death’ was mourned by her co-stars, including the recent Bigg Boss 17 winner Manoor Farooqui.

He wrote in a post on X that it is very hard to believe this news, Poonam was a very good person.

Bollywood’s famous actress Kangana Ranaut also shared a post on Insta story and described Poonam Pandey’s death due to cancer as sad.

Another actor from India, Karanvir Bohra, posted: ‘I still can’t believe it, I’ll pray that this news isn’t true.’

The news of Poonam Pandey’s death was shared on her own Instagram account, which read: ‘It’s been a tough morning for us. We are deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer.’
