The president of Political Evolution (Evópoli) Gloria Hutt, criticized the spokesperson Camila Vallejo for the use of the figure of the former president Sebastian Piñera to talk about pension reform.
Vallejo had said this Wednesday that the opposition should open itself to the “Piñera formula”, that is, the 3 and 3 that Piñera proposed during his government, in “honor of the desire for agreements” of the late former president.
“I think what Minister Vallejo did yesterday is unpresentable. “She knows perfectly well that this 3-3 was presented when there was no Universal Guaranteed Pension, there was no solidarity component with central financing that has been tremendously valued by people,” Hutt said in a conversation with radio. “One has to have a minimum of seriousness. I can’t believe that, being a Government spokesperson, I don’t know that the 3-3 scenario was completely different from what it is now. I think that does not help to generate trust either because there is a crafty use of what President Piñera’s presentation was,” Hutt stressed.
