Lebanon’s Islamic resistance movement Hezbollah has launched attacks against Israel. Hezbollah said in a statement about the military operation that they attacked several bases in Israel. Two Israeli military buildings were attacked in the towns of Metula and Manara, east of the Lebanon-Israel border.
Hezbollah also said two of its fighters were killed on Thursday. Clashes with Israeli troops continue along the border.
The Iran-backed group said it would stop its attacks on Israel once the war in Gaza ends. But Israeli leaders have vowed to push Hezbollah away from Israel’s northern border. A full-scale war warning has also been issued if necessary.
However, there are no signs of an end to the Israeli occupation of Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinians are being killed there every day. The United Nations children’s agency UNICEF said that the number of child deaths in the Palestinian territories has already exceeded the tolerable level. Several European countries have called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. At the same time warned against Israeli aggression in Rafah.

Earlier, Israel set a deadline for the release of people held hostage by the Palestinian independence organization Hamas. It has been demanded to release all the hostages by March 10. Benny Gantz, a member of Israel’s war cabinet, has warned that if Hamas does not release all hostages held in Gaza by this deadline, an intense attack on Rafah will be launched.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had information on where the hostages were being held by Hamas. The IDF described its raid on Nasser Hospital as specific and limited. Israel claims that the hospital is being used by Hamas for terrorist activities.
