The news that Austrian Force had been promoted to the First Division of the Prime League last autumn not only caused great celebration among the team itself. Because: The team is only the second Austrian organization in the entire history of the Prime League to compete in Division 1. The joy is even greater now, at the halfway point of the 2024 Spring Split, because: Austrian Force is in first place in the Prime League Division after seven wins and two defeats and shares this podium place ex aequo with SK Gaming. Austrian Force willhaben is ahead of well-known players such as Berlin International Gaming (BIG), Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt and Eintracht Spandau, proving once again that the domestic e-sports scene has to do anything but hide.

“The first half of the season was one of the most exciting seasons in the history of the Prime League, probably the toughest league in the entire e-sports ecosystem, not only for our club, but for everyone involved and viewers,” said Franz Vošicky, Chapter Lead Consumer Marketing at willhaben. Philipp Stockinger, chairman of the Austrian Force Esports club, adds: “We are incredibly proud to be able to represent the local scene at the top of the Prime League and are heading into the second half of the split full of motivation but also respect.”
