During the marches called for this Wednesday, May 1, in commemoration of Labor Day, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro announced the breaking of diplomatic ties with Israel.
At the beginning of his speech in the Plaza de Bolívar in Bogotá, the president stated: “If Palestine dies, humanity dies, and we will not allow that to happen.”
