Gracie Abrams kept her promise by releasing her new song “Risk”, the first single from his next album The Secret of Us.
The song is accompanied by a video directed by her best friend and collaborator, Audrey Hobert, with whom he co-wrote the song “on our couch at home.”

In a post on Instagram, Abrams praised Hobert and shared his excitement about the shared creative process.
“This is totally her. Working together on set and at home on our couch is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. She’s brilliant in every way. I love you, Aud. We hope you all like our song.” .
Additionally, Abrams revealed that Aaron Dessner del Nationalwith whom he collaborated on his 2023 debut album, “Good Riddance,” He was the producer of “Risk”. The artist also announced that the song will debut live in the May 8 episode The Tonight Showwhere will talk about his upcoming album with Jimmy Fallon.
Of “The Secret of Us,” Abrams previously shared, “We had a ton of fun writing this album. There were occasional tears, too.” The album is scheduled for release on June 21.
After the success of “Good Riddance”, Abrams had the opportunity to open for Taylor Swift during the North American leg of the “Eras Tour” and got a Grammy nomination for Best New Artistthus cementing her position as one of the most exciting emerging artists on the current music scene.
