This Saturday, the Undersecretary General and Government, Nicole Cardoch, together with the Undersecretary of Social Services, Francisca Gallegos, delivered the early help guide for victims of the forest fires in the Valparaíso region.
In front of the residents of Villa Los Almendros in Viña del Mar, the subsecretaries delivered this document, which aims to provide information to the affected families so that they can access available benefits and services provided by the State in the context of emergency.
The document details how to get help in the areas of housing, work, health, education and taxes. “It details the description of each of the aids related to transitional housing, indicating what the benefit is, who it is aimed at and how they can apply,” Gallegos reported.
The undersecretary indicated that the Government has “allocated an aid package for early social care, to prevent families from being exposed to greater vulnerabilities, both for people with disabilities, the elderly and for girls, boys and adolescents.”
Furthermore, he added that “In these guides you will find detailed information on each of the benefits and what the complementarity processes are because it has been said many times that they are incompatible and that is not true, they are complementary.”
Cardoch assured that “our State service devices, such as Banco Estado, continue to be deployed in three different points of the Viña del Mar commune so that people can come and complete all the necessary procedures, we know that a fundamental part of beginning the process of Reconstruction is normalizing the people or the lives of the people in each of their neighborhoods.”
