Government and ELN will resume dialogues and announce a new negotiation cycle

The guerrilla National Liberation Army (ELN) and the Colombian Government announced this Monday in a joint statement that both parties will resume the dialogue – suspended last week – and They confirmed that the seventh cycle in Venezuela will take place from April 8 to 22.

“We analyzed the progress in the agreements and the problems faced by the Peace Dialogue Table, against which each party has made commitments for the proper development of the peace process,” they stated in the text.

For its part, the ELN delegation added that the guerrilla “will comply with the internal consultations to which it was summoned.”
