The G7 countries, along with the European Union (EU), will apply new restrictions against Russia on the eve of the second anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
Publika.az According to “Report”, the restrictive measures are agreed with the G7 allies, and each of them is expected to prepare their own package of sanctions.
According to “Politico” citing European diplomats, as part of the 13th package of sanctions, the EU is considering the idea of restricting the travel of Russian diplomats only within the territory of their accredited country and not within all Schengen zone countries.
In addition, Polish radio reported that about 250 people and companies could be included in the EU’s sanctions list under the 13th package.
Earlier, Western mass media reported that the EU plans to expand the list of individuals and legal entities whose assets will be frozen and whose entry into the territory of the Union will be banned as part of a new package of restrictions.
