Hyderabad | The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) task force team conducted an inspection at the Kothapet fruit market on Thursday and identified three vendors who were cooking a part of their produce by directly wrapping it in ethylene cellulose.
The total cost of fruits thus cooked is Rs. 55,000. Fruits weighing 150 kg, 200 kg and 200 kg were seized from three different warehouses. Along with issuing notices to the sellers, an education case will also be filed against them.
