Integrate doctors, nurses and carers into Viennese hospitals
Vienna (OTS) – The chaotic closure of the AUVA Hospital Lorenz-Böhler is a catastrophe for both patients and medical staff. However, the inaction of SPÖ City Councilor for Health Hacker is further exacerbating this crisis. “Hackers should have reacted long ago to intercept the impending health care crisis in Vienna. You constantly hear about too few staff and closed wards in the WiGeV hospitals, now you have the chance to change this. Why has there been no cooperation with the doctors, nurses and carers from Lorenz-Böhler for weeks,” asks the health spokesman for the Vienna FPÖ LAbg. Wolfgang Seidl. Just because Hacker isn’t primarily to blame doesn’t mean he can sit back and wait it out. “Hacker is responsible for a well-functioning healthcare system in Vienna. This includes ensuring rapid and best possible patient care. However, he once again fails to fulfill this obligation and proves once again that he is completely the wrong man in the wrong position. Please finally vacate your seat and let a capable man take the helm,” Seidl demands Hacker’s resignation.
