“No anchoring in the public housing system – will cooperatives be plucked like Christmas geese in the future?”
Vienna (OTS) – “We libertarians are clearly committed to affordable housing, which also requires an active land policy. However, this contractual spatial planning is a more than problematic concept here – see the scandal surrounding the hay market in Vienna and the investor Michael Tojner,” explained FPÖ building spokesman NAbg today. Mag. Philipp Schrangl expressed his group’s negative attitude and referred to the current presumption of innocence for everyone named and involved.
“There are no transparency criteria, no exceptions and no maximum limits anchored in the contractual spatial planning. And that makes this draft unacceptable. “It almost formalizes scandals like the one surrounding the Heumarkt area,” criticized Schrangl.
“The provision was also not linked to public housing – i.e. affordable housing. This means that housing cooperatives are potentially being plucked like Christmas geese. This measure is the next black-green attack on affordable housing,” emphasized Schrangl.
