Vienna (OTS) – “Aside from the fact that the then SPÖ leader Rendi-Wagner called for a rent freeze at the end of January 2023, Kucher’s repetition of this demand today is hypocritical, unbelievable and pure show politics. Because everywhere the SPÖ rules, rents are still being driven up. The SPÖ in particular manages more apartments than anyone else in Europe and could have implemented such a rent freeze long ago. “Vienna’s SPÖ mayor is the largest landlord in Austria with 220,000 municipal apartments,” said FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz on relevant statements by the acting SPÖ club chairman in the Ö1 “Journal as a guest”.

“The only thing that Babler and Kucher can really do is the constant striving to serve the people’s party step by step. In terms of content, there is no longer any difference between this former workers’ party and this ÖVP-led government. We therefore invite all former Social Democrats – who have absolutely nothing to do with these wrong paths – to walk part of the way with us. We also protect the workers and employees, if necessary, from attacks by a former workers’ party that is going astray,” said Schnedlitz.
