Vienna (OTS) – “Academic training to become a psychotherapist is certainly good and right, but to link this with a right to mental health is pure cynicism. The fact that the green club leader in particular is demanding this right, who for years had no regard for the well-being of the people in the country and was significantly involved in the psychological terror of lockdowns and compulsory vaccinations, is pure chutzpah. Because no one other than the ÖVP-Green Federal Government has put the mental health of our citizens at risk and brought about an unprecedented wave of illnesses in this area,” reacted the liberal health spokesman and chairman of the parliamentary health committee NAbg today. Mag. Gerhard Kaniak.
How heartless people are here is also shown by the fact that appropriate training will only be available at our universities from 2026. “The Black-Green coalition has delayed this important amendment for years, not only letting patients down but also putting them under financial strain – thereby making the situation even worse,” said Kaniak.
“The reasons for the increased need for psychotherapists lie in the unfortunate, excessive and, on top of that, inhumane corona measures of the black-green federal government. A fire was started there years ago, now everything is in ashes and rubble and now, much too late, people are trying to put it out. The fact that this amendment was not presented by the Green Health Minister Rauch himself is indicative of the prevailing government chaos,” emphasized Kaniak and continued: “Ruch and his predecessors Anschober and Mückstein in particular, together with their black vicarious agents Nehammer, Edtstadler and Co., have it “To be responsible for the fact that our young people can no longer see any prospects in their future, they are to blame for the very disaster that they like to put off and blame on others.”
