El Hajeb hosts the Atlas Equestrian Catch-up

From May 6 to 12, the city of El Hajeb will host the Atlas Equestrian Track.

A statement from the Royal Tamnait Atlas Equestrian Club stated that the route of this race, which takes place between the cities of El Hajeb and Khenifra, passes through pine forests, Laayoune, valleys, highlands and different landscapes, which make the participants live a competition in the spirit of “attachment to nature” and discovering Morocco in a different way.

The same club added that the competition will be held according to teams, each consisting of three to five riders, who will have to guide themselves, adapt to the difficulties of nature, and manage the effort and endurance of their horses, with the help of a compass and a topographical map.

According to the same source, the participants will cover, over a period of seven days, between 15 and 40 kilometers, interspersed with rest periods, with the finishing point being in the Jadeer region, on the outskirts of the city of Khenifra, on May 11, where the awards ceremony will be held.

The Atlas Equestrian Club, organized by the Royal Tamnait Atlas Equestrian Sports Club, which is affiliated with the Royal Moroccan Equestrian University, aims to promote horse riding and entertainment activities (horseback tours, endurance and endurance), and to enable people to discover the regions of Morocco in a different way through rural equestrian tourism.
