In order to make it easier for companies to disseminate their vacancies and as a way of connecting with those looking for a job opportunity, the Torreón Economic Development Directorate maintains the Job Board available to employers.

Jorge Antonio Willy Portal, head of the agency, mentioned that through the Job Board, the human resources staff of interested companies can find various strategies that allow them to reach a greater number of job seekers and be able to fill their vacancies. with the appropriate profiles, in less time than if they did it individually.

He explained that the company registration process consists of sending to the email [email protected] the following documentation: proof of tax situation, proof of address, telephone number and name of the person in charge. Once the above has been completed, he said that department personnel provide them with a format to specify the profile of the vacancy.

Subsequently, the data is uploaded to the Job Board section of the Municipal Administration’s website to give greater dissemination to the vacancies.

Willy Portal indicated that in addition to facilitating the use of the platform, companies can attend employment fairs organized by the agency, to publicize their job offer.

Likewise, company personnel can have access to the job applications that the Job Board has and search for suitable candidates to fill their vacancies.

He added that another of the services with which the agency can contribute to the Private Initiative is by providing the spaces of the Economic Development Directorate to schedule recruitment interviews.

He mentioned that the Job Board works as a link between the person offering the vacancy and the job seeker, with the aim of streamlining the processes for both parties.

The director said that currently hotel companies, maquiladoras, shoe stores, stationery stores and supermarkets, among others, are those that collaborate with the Labor Exchange.
