Children’s Day celebrated with equestrian jumping contest

A friendly and free equestrian jumping contest was the way in which last Saturday, at the La Cabaña Equestrian Club, Children’s Day was celebrated, an activity enjoyed by children and adults alike, who share the passion for horse riding. .

There were a total of 47 tracks that were covered in a morning of coexistence and camaraderie, the routes with a clean track were highly rewarded and also allowed the Lagunero riders to prepare for the competitions they have on upcoming dates.

The teacher Alma Dávila Saldaña received the riders with great pleasure and in addition to overcoming tracks with obstacles that ranged from crossbars on the floor, up to a height of one meter, as well as a demonstration by Arturo García with the bars at 1.30 meters high, The riders also enjoyed a taquiza and bounce houses for the amusement of those present.

The great attendance of the youngest riders was surprising, from just four years of age, they did the route on the first track, registering 18 participants, which speaks well of the popularity that this discipline is gaining among the new generations of lagoon riders. Adults were not left with the desire to ride and also participated in the contest, with the appropriate heights, so that after the awards for each of the tests, they could share pleasant conversations about horse riding and everything related to the wonderful horses.

The Lagunero riders will have a busy month of May, as next weekend they will have a local competition and later, at the end of the month, they will travel to Chihuahua, to take part in a friendly, but demanding competition, at the Country Club of that city. , which will celebrate the fifth date of its state circuit. Around a dozen Lagunero riders will make the trip to the capital of the “Big State”, so in the following days, they will prepare thoroughly to arrive at the contest with the confidence of winning.
