Councilor Moreno is responding favorably, the prayer chains continue

Valledupar councilor Christian Moreno has been in an induced coma for three days today, after having undergone surgery for cerebral edema, the result of a spectacular accident in which he was seriously injured early last Saturday.

Moreno remains confined in the Intensive Care Unit of the High Complexity Clinic in Valledupar, where he is treated by a team of neurosurgeons who are monitoring his evolution.

“The medical report remains favorable, he remains stable, he has not had any type of complications; He is responding well to everything that the specialists are doing to him. We have to continue waiting, first in God and in what they are doing at the Clinic,” it was known through some relatives of Councilor Moreno.

The event has caused commotion among the Cesar and Valledupar communities, as well as political leaders and colleagues of the councilor, who have joined together in a prayer chain, even holding a rally in front of the care center where the former congressman is being held.

Representative Claudia Margarita Zuleta was present at the clinic and stated that they pray to God for health for this valuable man, who contributes a lot to the department and the region. “We are praying for him and trust in his strength to get through this tragic episode.”

Likewise, the political leader Manuel Mejía Pallares expressed his solidarity with Moreno and his family. “We are accompanying a friend and countryman, praying for his health, so that everything goes well. They are tough battles that life imposes, but with faith and trust in God he will get out of this situation,” he said.
