The president of the National Chamber of the Processing Industry (CANACINTRA) in the southeast region, Eduardo Garza Martínez, expressed his disagreement with the recent reforms related to the Afores and the protection law, which he described as harmful and unconstitutional.

He considered that political actors should be concerned about calling the vote, about progress in the electoral process and not about modifying the law.

At this moment it is adding more noise to a system that already has a lot of noise. “The President of the Republic had six years to make changes and it is not possible for him to make these modifications right now, when he is leaving and at a quarter to twelve,” he indicated.

Garza Martínez pointed out that the reforms carried out are unconstitutional and announced that on the 30th of this month he will meet with the national leadership of the Chamber to discuss and establish the measures they will take.

PROMOTE VOTING IN COMPANIES

On the other hand, he indicated that they have asked the 427 affiliated companies to provide the facilities to go to vote on June 2, in addition to encouraging participation as electoral promoters and reasoned voting.

“We intend add at least 30 observers and we have proposed in the Union of Business Organizations “That each chamber incorporates that number so that we have a very large quantity,” he indicated.

He added that they are also carrying out a campaign called “Reasoned Vote” where they seek to publicize the situation in Coahuila on the national stage so that people have clarity regarding the forms of government and vote for parties that benefit the entity.
