Benjamín Adame Pereyra, who served as Undersecretary of Educational Planning of the Guerrero Education Secretariat (SEG), was found dead early this Wednesday at his home located in the community of El Ocotito, in Chilpancingo.
According to the first reporters, around 2 in the morning, Adame Pereyra was found dead in one of the hallways of his house.
So far, no authority has defined the motive for the murder; One of the versions indicates that it was a robbery. The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) confirmed the murder, but did not provide more details about the crime.
The governor, Morenista Evelyn Salgado Pineda, regretted the murder of the official and asked the FGE to clarify the crime.
Adame Pereyra was part of the close group of the Salgado Pineda family. In the 2021 campaign, he was a political operator, first, for Senator Félix Salgado Macedonio and then for Evelyn Salgado Pineda in that corridor of communities called Valle de El Ocotito.
