For several hours, the Government of Benin, through its various digital channels, has been alerting public opinion to a scam operated by a fraudulent investment platform which, to better lure, maliciously exploits the image of the Head of State Beninese Patrice TALON.

Here is the text of the alert made public against this new form of scam!

« We would like to alert the public about a fraudulent investment platform called AzureCharge, accessible via the link https[:]//benin[.]ezxearn[.]com et via plusieurs applications mobiles (LoopEarn, Fast Earn, Rapid Earn).

Promising exceptional remuneration in a very short time and maliciously exploiting the image of the Head of State, this platform turns out to be an elaborate scam, similar to the recent “CameoShell” case.

We strongly urge the entire Beninese population to exercise increased vigilance. It is crucial to be wary of offers that appear too good to be true and to always check the legitimacy of investment platforms.

Our teams have carried out the required investigations and are currently taking measures to neutralize the activity of this fraudulent application on our territory. Protect yourself and share this message to inform your loved ones.

Together, let’s remain vigilant against cybercrime »
