BCAP’s revenue reaches IDR 757.1 billion in the first quarter of 2024

JAKARTA – PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) report financial performance which ends on March 31, 2024 with income consolidated amounting to IDR 757.1 billion. This achievement grew 4.2% year-on-year (yoy) from the same period last year.

BCAP’s consolidated income mainly comes from interest and dividends which dominate 62.9% of total income. Interest and dividend income rose 2.2% yoy from IDR 466.0 billion in Q1-2023 to IDR 476.3 billion in Q1-2024.

The highest increase was recorded in net premium income which shot up 61.2% yoy from IDR 66.6 billion to IDR 107.4 billion in the first quarter of this year, followed by digital revenue which soared 17.7% yoy to IDR 78.4 billion in Q1-2024 .

In addition, BCAP’s consolidated income also came from capital market income of IDR 61.3 billion, sharia financing income of IDR 7.8 billion, and other operational income of IDR 26.0 billion.

Meanwhile, the company posted a net profit of IDR 40.0 billion in Q1-2024, or an increase of 2.0% yoy from IDR 39.2 billion in Q1-2023, with total net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity reaching IDR 34.8 billion.

The main contributor to BCAP’s revenue in Q1-2024 came from MNC Bank at 47.4% of total consolidated revenue, followed by MNC Life 12.8%, MNC Insurance 10.3%, MNC Finance 8.5%, MNC Sekuritas 7.8 %, MNC Leasing 5.7%, FM Digital Solution 1.2%, MNC Teknologi Nusantara 1.2%, MNC Asset Management 0.4%, and others 4.7%.

When compared with the financial position report at the end of last year, the Company recorded an increase in total consolidated assets to IDR 26.4 trillion, total consolidated liabilities increased to IDR 19.4 trillion, and the Company’s total consolidated equity touched IDR 7.0 trillion in the first quarter of this year.
