Nepal has announced the T20 World Cup team. The 15-member team will be led by Rohit Paudel.
There are no big surprises in the team. Gulshan Jha is in the youth squad that played in the U-19 World Cup. 19-year-old Pratish GC retained the place. Sompal Kami is the only player from his debut season in 2014. There is fast bowling all-rounder Karan Casey. He is the oldest player in the team. Lalit Rajbanshi will lead the spin attack.
After the announcement of the team, changes can be made without any conditions within 25 May. Any change after that would require the approval of the ICC.
Nepal will play in ‘D’ group in T20 World Cup. Where their group mates are South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Netherlands.
Oman has announced the T20 World Cup team with batting all-rounder Aqib Ilyas as the captain.
The name of the new captain has been announced through the announcement of the team. Former captain Zeeshan Maqsood, however, retained his place. The 36-year-old Zeeshan served as Sultan Ahmed’s deputy on his 2016 World Cup debut. He also led the team at home in the 2021 season.

Oman will play in Group B in the World Cup. Their group mates are Australia, England, Namibia, Scotland.
