Breakfast together focuses on better access to psychological help in Austria
Vienna (OTS) – The Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists (BÖP) invites you to a joint breakfast on Tuesday, May 21st from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m im Café Prückel will be held. The focus is on discussions about why financial status continues to determine whether people receive psychological help.
Since January 1, 2024, clinical psychological treatment has been a health insurance benefit in Austria, and insured persons receive a cost subsidy from their social insurance. Despite this progress, the reality remains: not all those affected in Austria who need psychological help can afford it.
The joint breakfast now offers an opportunity to gain insights into current developments and challenges in the field of mental health in Austria. Media presence and coverage are critical to bringing public awareness of these important issues.
