Apple’s Annual iPhone Launch
Every year, Apple unveils its latest iPhone models, which consistently rank among the top-selling smartphones worldwide. With each new release, the company introduces design changes, operating system enhancements, and new applications.
Traditionally, these launches take place in September, but details about the upcoming smartphones start to emerge months in advance. Among the most anticipated information is the pricing of the new models.

Prior to the launch, four different iPhone models have been confirmed:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
While the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models are expected to have similar functionality to the iPhone 14, the Pro and Pro Max models will bring significant changes.
Cost of iPhone 15 Models
One notable difference with the new iPhones will be their price. According to a report by El País in Spain, the prices will increase by $200.
This means that the base model will start at $1,000, up from $800, while the Pro model will be priced at $1,200, up from $1,000. It’s worth mentioning that the prices may vary depending on the storage capacity.
In Colombia, if these price rumors hold true, the new iPhones could cost between 7 and 8 million pesos.
Additionally, the new models will feature different screen sizes:
- iPhone 15: 6.1 inches
- iPhone 15 Max: 6.7 inches
- iPhone 15 Pro: 6.1 inches
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra): 6.7 inches
Furthermore, the new iPhones are expected to come with a USB-C input for charging.
