Álvarez Máynez proposes dismissing anyone who does not keep his promises

Jorge Álvarez Máynez proposed that, if he becomes President of Mexico, he will push the Law of Guaranteed Results that he previously presented in the Chamber of Deputies when he was a legislator so that politicians who do not fulfill their campaign promises are removed from their positions.

When questioned by students from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, Culiacán Campus, about what guarantees of compliance with proposals he can offer to those who vote for his political project, the presidential candidate of Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) proposed that he will make mechanisms available to citizens. of citizen participation for accountability.

“I presented a bill called guaranteed results in which citizens can follow up on campaign promises and that, finally, if someone does not comply, there are mechanisms to remove them because when you are a candidate for what Whether you register a platform, you say: ‘I am a candidate to do this in the municipality or to do this in the Senate,’ but if you don’t comply, nothing happens,” he explained to his audience.

From Culiacán, Sinaloa, the Zacatecas politician criticized that Morena political figures hang on the image of Andrés Manuel López Obrador to sell their platforms and sympathize during electoral contests, but, when they come to power, they fail the citizens with the failure to comply with his promises.

“That is why I do believe in a Law of Guaranteed Results, linked to the revocation of the mandate and it can be a very good solution because that is the problem we have, for example, with the rulers of Morena. People have a lot of approval for the President , they thank him for the increase in salary, (…) for having expanded social programs, but people hate the governors and mayors of Morena because they hang on to the President, they lie, steal, betray and, hung with that popularity of the president, Cuitláhuac , Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Layda Sansores have generated chaos in their states, insecurity, corruption, impunity and are nothing like the supposed model,” he said.

He assured that, unlike the official government or the opposition, the Citizen Movement will be different because it will not come to power sponsored by groups with economic interests and because its campaign is being carried out by students, not political forces.
