The Bahrain Olympic Committee will participate in the meeting of mission directors for the Sixth Asian Indoor and Combat Games, which will be held in Chonburi, Thailand, next November, in the presence of a number of officials from the Olympic Council of Asia, the Thai Olympic Committee, and the tournament’s organizing committee.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee was represented at the meeting held on the 4th and 5th of March by Mr. Redha Munfardi, President of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Member of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, and Ms. Fajr Jassim, Member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee and Director of the Department of International and Arab Relations.
The meeting program includes a series of field visits to the sites where combat sports competitions of all kinds and other sports such as archery, futsal, climbing, cycling, baseball, athletics, and many other facilities are held.
The program also included presenting a series of reports on the opening and closing ceremonies, competition and training venues, transportation, nutrition, arrival and departure, prices, tickets, logistics and customs services, insurance, anti-doping, security, volunteers, protocols and ceremonies, media services, in addition to answering questions. The Sixth Asian Indoor Games will be held from November 21 to 30, and will witness competitions in 36 sports, in addition to two exhibition sports.
