She accused Batelli of bias, saying, “We have previously warned repeatedly about the actions taken by the head of the support mission in Libya that do not ultimately lead to solving the problem in Libya, as it has been proven that he is clearly biased toward one party at the expense of the other, and is not fulfilling the role for which he was assigned, which is equality between the parties.” all of which”.
In his speech before the Security Council, Batelli said that the parties in Libya “continue to set conditions before participating in the dialogue, in a way that maintains the status quo.”
He added, “So far, no party in Libya has moved decisively from its initial position, and it seems that the current situation suits them,” calling on “all institutional actors in Libya to participate in the dialogue without conditions.”
Batelli had invited the main parties in Libya to participate in a meeting aimed at reaching a political settlement on the controversial issues related to the implementation of the electoral process, and to identify the outstanding issues that must be resolved to enable the Election Commission to begin implementing the election laws issued by the House of Representatives.

The government appointed by Parliament explained its motives behind the demand for his removal, saying that he excluded it from the five-year dialogue to which it was called months ago, “despite being the legitimate government appointed by the Libyan House of Representatives after the end of the mandate of the National Unity Government.
