The Bahrain Football Association participated in the activities of the National Sports Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain, by holding a special event for its employees, in the presence of the Federation’s Secretary-General, Rashid Al-Zoubi.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Football Association, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, stressed that the interaction with the Sports Day enhances the distinguished efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in establishing the importance of sport in Bahraini society.
He stated that the Bahrain Football Association organized various programs for employees, to achieve the goals of this day, athletically, healthily, and socially, within the framework of promoting the concept of sports for all and achieving awareness of the importance of sports and its role in the life of the individual and society, pointing out his happiness that these events come with the aim of encouraging individuals to move and be active. The values that Bahrain Sports Day aims to promote mental and physical health.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Football Association praised the gains of the Sports Day through adopting an ideal and healthy lifestyle through practicing sports, and developing a new method for implementing initiatives aimed at making sports a daily basis and a way of life for all.
