Coinciding with the end of the Bahraini Farmers Market season, which is sponsored by stc Bahrain and the National Initiative for Agricultural Sector Development, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, stc Bahrain announced the offering of many cash prizes in its final week through its electronic wallet stc pay to visitors. It is noteworthy that the farmers’ market was launched in December 2023 and witnessed unprecedented success, with an increase of 13,546 visitors in its first week to 87,438 visitors in its fourth week, with the participation of 33 farmers and 18 restaurants and cafes. Many developments have been launched on the market site, including the lake area, the palm oasis, the theater area, and the games area, with a space allocated for Bahraini farmers to display their agricultural products, a space for craftsmen to showcase their artistic skills, and a recreational area for children.
