In its next session, the House of Representatives will discuss the Services Committee’s report regarding the proposal for a law regarding the bahrainisation of some professions in the private sector.

The proposal aims to Bahrainize private sector jobs in the medical, legal, accounting, educational, banking, and aviation sectors, according to a strategy developed by the competent minister and approved by the Council of Ministers, ensuring that Bahrainis replace foreigners, provided that this is within two years from the date of implementation of the provisions of this law. the law.

The general foundations and principles of the proposal are based on obligating all companies and individual commercial institutions to Bahrainize the professions mentioned in the proposal within two years from the effective date of the law, and the necessity of reconciling the conditions of companies and individual commercial institutions with the provisions of the law in replacing Bahrainis with foreigners.

A strategy was developed by the minister concerned with labor affairs to replace Bahrainis with foreigners in the private sector.

The Ministry of Labor’s views indicated that the purpose of the proposal has been achieved on the ground, within a clear strategy to integrate job seekers with different qualifications into attractive and appropriate jobs, in accordance with the mechanisms and initiatives provided by the Ministry.
