A number of lawyers appreciated the Public Prosecution’s strategy for digital transformation, which was recently announced by Attorney General Ali Al-Buainain in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority, which includes the launch of a number of new electronic services, through the national portal of the Kingdom of Bahrain, bahrain.bh.

For his part, lawyer Jumaa Rafi Abbar pointed out that the decision is an important addition to the process of electronic transformation in the justice sector witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, which will significantly save cost and effort and improve operational efficiency and organization.
He added that the decision works to improve their quality and simplify procedures for obtaining services provided to the public, and creates opportunities to provide innovative and creative services away from traditional methods of providing services, which in turn contributes to creating a state of satisfaction and acceptance from the public towards Public Prosecution services.
Many advantages
For his part, lawyer Salah Jaber stated that the new electronic services have many advantages in saving time and effort and reducing costs, in addition to advancing judicial work and facilitating all data for lawyers.
He pointed out that electronic development is the ideal alternative in procedural and judicial work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is required and in line with Bahrain’s Vision 2030, and keeps pace with the modern development of the legal system worldwide.
He stressed that providing digital services would provide comfort and ease, as digital services allow lawyer users to easily access and benefit from the services and information they need.
Save effort and money
Lawyer Mohammed Al-Kooheji said that the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed a phase of digital transformation years ago, and one of its fruits was the introduction of this qualitative shift in the corridors of the judiciary, and the electronic system became the system used in civil and legal cases.
Al-Kooheji added that the electronic transformation made it easier for the concerned parties or their attorneys to view cases, submit memorandums, judicial requests, and other matters.
He stated that the digital transformation that extended to the Public Prosecution had added excellent features for dealing with criminal cases and various reports, which saved effort, money and time for a group of lawyers or those who represent them, and it became easy to view all cases and reports related to people and to submit requests on weekends or holidays. Official, and canceling the crowding that lawyers and stakeholders were suffering from, which was causing distress and dissatisfaction among many.
Al-Kooheji expressed his happiness at activating this feature, which has saved the stakeholders and lawyers a lot, pointing out that the Kingdom of Bahrain is always at the forefront of new technologies.
