The Israeli army announced that it attacked a Hezbollah building and four infrastructure in the Yaroun area in southern Lebanon.

A Sky News Arabia correspondent reported that Israeli aircraft launched 3 raids on the town of Yaroun, and 3 other raids on the Jabour Heights in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah had announced that it had targeted a military headquarters in northern Israel with dozens of Katyusha rockets, while the Israeli army confirmed that it had monitored the launch of about 35 rockets from the Lebanese side.

The party announced the killing of one of its members, Hussein Ali Azqul, a resident of the town of Adloun in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army said that its forces bombed sources of fire and raids by fighter jets on “infrastructure” belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. It also bombed earlier “two military buildings where Hezbollah fighters are active” in Al-Adissa and Arzoun.

Since October 8, Hezbollah and Israel have exchanged cross-border bombing on an almost daily basis.

The intensity of escalation between the two sides increased after the Iranian attack on Israel, amid global anticipation and fears that the region would slide toward a wide-scale war.

Hezbollah announces that it is targeting Israeli sites, spy devices, and military gatherings “in support of Gaza and in support of its resistance,” and the Israeli army is bombing by air and artillery to target the party’s “infrastructure” and fighter movements near the border.
