The Asian Football Confederation commissioned the Asian referee evaluator and discoverer, Jassim Mahmoud, to evaluate the refereeing crew for the match between the Japanese clubs Yokohama Marinos and the South Korean Ulsan Hyundai, which will be held on April 24, in Japan, in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League.
Jassim Mahmoud will be led by an international refereeing team consisting of Australian field referee Ali Reda, Australian first assistant Anton, Australian second assistant James Andrew, Australian fourth referee Jonathan, Singaporean video technology referee Muhammad Taqi and Australian video technology assistant referee John.
The Asian assignment of Jassim Mahmoud is a continuation of the series of successes achieved by the Bahraini arbitration corps with the presence and participation of its various cadres in all major tournaments and competitions, in return for the confidence it has gained at all levels through its distinguished performance known for its competence.
The Asian assignment of Jassim Mahmoud is within the framework of the multiple tasks that the Asian Football Confederation assigns to its accredited Bahraini referee evaluators, as Jassim Mahmoud has previously supervised many refereeing crews during matches in various tournaments organized continentally and internationally.
It is noteworthy that the Asian Football Confederation has adopted Jassim Mahmoud as an Asian evaluator and scout for referees since 2010.
