The Asian Football Confederation has commissioned the evaluator and discoverer of Asian Futsal referees, Abdul Rahman Abdul Qadir, and our international Futsal referee, Hussein Al-Bahar; To participate in managing the 2024 AFC Futsal Cup matches, which will be hosted by Thailand.
The Asian Futsal Finals will be held from April 17 to 28, 2024, with the participation of 16 teams.
The Asian Football Confederation chose the Asian Futsal referee evaluator and discoverer, Abdul Rahman Abdul Qadir. To be the referee’s evaluator in the tournament, he also chose international futsal World Cup referee Hussein Al-Bahar to participate in officiating the tournament matches, along with 19 other referees.
The assignment issued by the Asian Football Confederation is an affirmation of the distinguished position enjoyed by Bahraini referees at all levels, including futsal referees, as Hussein Al-Bahar is among the list of the elite Asian futsal referees for the year 2024, and he has previously officiated many important matches at various levels. At all levels, the most prominent of which is his participation in managing the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup matches. Abdul Rahman Abdul Qadir is also one of the Asian Futsal referee evaluators, and has previously supervised similar tasks in many tournaments.
Al-Bahar, Idris, and Al-Dosari are considered among the distinguished names at the level of futsal refereeing on the Asian continent, and their assignment in the Asian qualifiers is a continuation of the multiple successes achieved by Bahraini refereeing, especially with the participation of 3 Bahraini referees in the Asian Futsal Finals.
