Hamad’s appointment to the Evaluation Committee for the Women’s World Cup files comes as a confirmation of FIFA’s confidence in him, as he has been a member of the International Federation’s Audit and Compliance Committee since its formation in 2021, noting that he served as a member of the Governance Committee during the previous session 2017-2021 and is still Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Asian Football Confederation.
