The Deputy Chairman of the Fatah Movement, Mahmoud Al-Aloul, announced on Thursday that the Palestinian Authority will be present in the Gaza Strip after the war, stressing that there are no disagreements within the movement regarding the formation of the final government.

Al-Aloul told the Arab World News Agency: “This is the authority of the Palestinian people, and we did not leave Gaza until we returned to it, and most of the issues related to the management of daily life in the Gaza Strip are basically managed by the Palestinian Authority, such as the issue related to education, health, energy, and others.”

Al-Aloul confirmed that there are no disagreements within the Fatah movement regarding the formation of the latest government, stressing that what is happening is a difference in views and not a disagreement over the form of the government, and whether it is a government of factions or a government of technocrats.

The deputy head of the Fatah movement rejected Hamas’s accusations that Palestinian intelligence tried to work in the Gaza Strip during the war.

Al-Aloul responded: “These allegations are absolutely not true. The Palestinian people are one people, and our people in the Gaza Strip cannot be left like this. For that, every possible effort must be made to support the presence of the people, because it is never enough that I do not want to be displaced only; “I put people in very difficult life circumstances that lead to migration.”

To achieve this goal, there were efforts made by various Palestinian security services, whether intelligence or others, to try to deliver humanitarian aid, according to Al-Aloul.

He added: “The issue is related to supporting the Palestinian Red Crescent in its ability to deliver materials and aid.”

Earlier this month, Hamas accused the Palestinian Authority of sending officers to the northern Gaza Strip. The Hamas-run Interior Ministry in Gaza said at the time that security personnel affiliated with the General Intelligence Service in Ramallah had entered the Strip “with the aim of causing chaos among the ranks of the home front.”

The ongoing Israeli war since October 7 has caused the death of nearly 34,000 Palestinians and the injury of about 80,000, and it is believed that thousands of bodies are still under the rubble of destroyed homes and rubble in the Gaza Strip, most of whose areas Israel has flattened.

The majority of the people of the Gaza Strip were displaced, fleeing the Israeli bombing, and approximately 1.5 million Palestinians are currently crowded into the town of Rafah in the south of the Strip on the border with Egypt.

The Vice President of Fatah stressed that there are a number of challenges facing the movement, and that the permanent challenge is the occupation.

He continued: “The occupation’s escalation of its measures against the Palestinian people and the war of extermination that it is waging against our people, specifically in Gaza, is a war against all Palestinians. During the past week we saw this war and its developments in the West Bank, and how herds of settlers are attacking population centers and villages, and therefore this is the challenge.” “Basic”.

Al-Aloul called for the need to protect the Palestinian people and stop the “war of annihilation waged by Israel.”

The Vice President of Fatah confirmed that the movement is communicating with all Palestinian factions, with the aim of coordinating positions.

Al-Aloul explained, “The Fatah movement is working to contain any dispute with any other Palestinian party or faction, including factions outside the PLO such as Hamas, which were talked to in dialogues that took place in Moscow and about issues related to change in order to achieve the requirements of the Palestinian people.” “.

He stated that “any changes or reforms in the political and administrative structure are Palestinian-required measures and not dictates from any party outside Palestine.”

Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 after a quick fight with the Palestinian Authority, after achieving a surprise victory in the Palestinian parliamentary elections the previous year.

Al-Aloul confirmed that the Palestinian leadership is coordinating its positions with the Arab countries, noting that there is coordination with Egypt and Jordan to stop Israeli plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

He concluded: “Then the coordination framework was expanded within the framework of a six-party committee that includes Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine, in addition to communication with all Arab parties.”
