Mahmoud Riaz said that the Bahraini Federation, in agreement with the Nepalese Federation, sent a letter stating that the Nepalese Football Association has no objection to transferring the match from Nepal to Bahrain. This is due to some obstacles in the logistical aspects that will prevent the match from being held in Nepal.

It is considered the last match in the first leg of the fifth group, noting that our team will host Nepal on March 26 in the fourth round (first leg).

The director of the national team indicated that the Bahraini Federation is awaiting a response from the Asian Confederation regarding transferring the match, indicating that officials in the Nepalese Federation have expressed their approval for transferring the match, especially with the difficulty of holding it on Nepalese soil, indicating that the coming days will witness complete clarity about the location of the match. the match.
