Secretary-General of the Bahrain Football Association, Rashid Al-Zoubi, said that the Federation received only two responses to the Federation’s letter circulated to member clubs regarding the timetable for the competitions of the 2024-2025 sports season.
Al-Zoubi pointed out that the Busaiteen and Khalidiya clubs are the only ones that sent a letter to the federation regarding their proposals regarding the competition schedule for the new season.
Al-Zoubi pointed out that the Bahrain Football Association addressed the clubs on April 8, 2024, regarding the proposal for the timetable and the placement of the league and Cup rounds of His Majesty the King, and set April 30, 2024 as the deadline for receiving the clubs’ proposals. For consideration, however, the Federation received only two responses from among the member clubs, indicating that the Federation will present what was stated in the letters of the Busaiteen and Khalidiya Clubs to the competent authorities of the Federation. To discuss the proposals and take them into consideration, in a way that contributes to the smoothness of the new season’s competitions, and in this context, we appreciate the response shown by the two clubs, which reflects the keenness to work collectively to enhance the desired gains.
This comes as a continuation of the Bahrain Football Association’s approach to involving all relevant parties in decision-making by receiving proposals and ideas to implement what is in the public interest.
