She pointed out that all the projects that were previously approved and submitted to the Council of Ministers, and were implemented in the previous period, and were completed last October, are working with high efficiency, and we see the extent of the difference in the level of efficiency of rainwater drainage now compared to previous years.
She continued, “The first project, which was at Lake Lawzi, was of course 100% effective. The pumps were working and the drainage to the Hamala estuary was very smooth and the amount of flow was large. Likewise, the second project on Route 26, which empties into Karzakan Port, also had strong flow, and we saw the flows directly.” In the region.”
She pointed out that all networks were working with high efficiency, but the amount of rain that fell was very large and unexpected, but the relevant ministries were able in the morning to finish and clear the entire area of rainwater collection and open all the main streets, stressing that the streets will be cleaned in the coming hours.

For his part, the representative of the municipal fourth district of the Southern Governorate, Muhammad Darraj, said that the rain that fell was much stronger than the rain of November 2, when 32 milliliters of rain fell, while on Monday evening, 70 milliliters of rain fell in just one hour.
