His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, surrounds the legislative authority with care and attention, enabling it to perform its legislative role to the fullest. His Excellency expressed his sincere Thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the Great King, may God support him, and wishing His Majesty success and success in leading the dear homeland to further renaissance, progress and development.
His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council appreciated, with all pride and appreciation, the great efforts made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and the support, assistance and follow-up made by His Honorable Highness and the esteemed government represented by Their Excellencies and Excellencies the Ministers. For the work of the Council, it resulted in fruitful cooperation between the Shura Council and the esteemed government, and legislative achievements that were reflected in the renaissance and development of our dear homeland, praising the efforts of His Excellency Mr. Ghanem bin Fadl Al-Buainain, Minister of Shura and Representatives Council Affairs, in coordination between the legislative and executive authorities.
This came during a speech delivered by the Speaker of the Shura Council, at the conclusion of the Shura Council session, today (Sunday), on the occasion of the close of the second session of the sixth legislative term.
The Speaker of the Shura Council extended his thanks, praise and appreciation to the members of the Council’s Bureau, and the members of the Shura Council, for what they have done during the past two sessions, in terms of distinguished work, great sincere efforts, active participation and substantive discussions in the Council’s sessions and the meetings of its specific specialized committees to reach legislation that is in the interest of the nation and the citizen.
He praised the honorable role of the members of the Shura Council in strengthening Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy, at the Gulf, Arab and international levels, and their keenness to convey an honest image of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its achievements under the prosperous reign of His Majesty the Great King, may God protect and preserve him, praising the Council members’ representation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, With their fellow members of the House of Representatives in parliamentary conferences and forums, and participating in parliamentary meetings and gatherings with the councils of countries around the world.
His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council expressed his sincere thanks to His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and to the members of the House of Representatives for the good cooperation and coordination between the two chambers.
He praised the efforts of the members of the General Secretariat of the Council, led by Mrs. Karima Muhammad Al-Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Council, and their dedication to providing high levels of support and support to the members of the Council, appreciating the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Legal Advisors Authority, and the distinguished legal and research support they provided.
