His Excellency Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security and Chairman of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, stated that in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defense Council, the National Center for Civil Emergency Management has been activated to stand up and deal with whatever may result. Repercussions due to weather fluctuations and rain that fell on the Kingdom.
His Excellency explained that the center has implemented the emergency plan prepared to confront the rains and the roles assigned to the relevant competent authorities, and follows up on the current preparations and readiness to deal with the rains, in addition to following up on reports received from meteorology, and ways of communicating with the public through the National Civil Protection Platform and the audio-visual media and communication. Social, as the National Center for Civil Emergency Management recommends the necessity of following security and safety procedures, following instructions and warnings during weather conditions, and obtaining information from its official sources, in addition to taking preventive measures in the event of rain to reduce its effects on lives and property.
In a related context, His Excellency the Chief of Public Security, Chairman of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, confirmed during his field tour to inspect the progress of work in the center and closely follow the work of the various parties, that the joint efforts undertaken by all sectors of the state and its concerned institutions, both public and private, are evidence of the spirit of one team. Team Bahrain, and an affirmation of the integration and concerted efforts to secure lives and property, as the plan’s priorities are based on securing the main and secondary streets, the continuity of basic services work, and handling various reports in an integrated manner, in addition to proactively warning citizens and residents and guiding them to what is primarily for their safety.
