The President of the Bahrain Triathlon Federation, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Abdul Salam, held a meeting with international athlete Musa Qarsh, to discuss his preparations to participate in the upcoming World Championships scheduled in Australia during August of this year. The meeting was also attended by Hamad Al-Mulla, Secretary-General of the Federation. It was arranged during the meeting to participate in three preparation races before the World Championship.
These races include the Sharm El Sheikh race from February 21-25, a training camp in Morocco, the Hurghada race in Egypt in May, and a race in Portugal in June. The President of the Federation expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Olympic Committee, for his great support for the Federation and the players in their international participation. He expressed his appreciation for His Highness’s interest in ensuring the Federation’s preparations for this important participation, as Bahraini champion Musa Qarsh represents the Kingdom in the World Championship.
The President of the Federation praised the efforts made by Dr. Abdul Rahman Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority, in enhancing continuous communication with the Federation and supporting it in its activities and the participation of national teams in international tournaments. Abdullah Abdul Salam also praised the role of Fares Al Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in overcoming obstacles and providing the needs of the federation and player Musa Qarsh in preparation for his participation in the World Championship.
