For his part, Paul Allary, President of the Safran Aircraft Engines Company, stressed in a statement to Hespress that the partnership between the French group and Royal Air Maroc goes back exactly 25 years, explaining that today’s celebration is considered a continuation of the events of this partnership and a renewal of ambition and confidence. Under the new memorandum of understanding, SAESM will be able to strengthen its position as a franchise for the CFM56 engines in Safran’s global maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) system, providing airlines with a full range of services covering the entire maintenance process, from diagnosis to warranties. The majority of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft are equipped with CFM56 engines, which are manufactured by Safran Aircraft Engines and General Electric Aviation (GE Aerospace) within the framework of their joint project. More than 33 thousand engines of this type have been delivered.

To keep pace with this development, the company also plans to employ about one hundred people until 2026, bringing the number of its employees to 350 people.
