On the evening of April 17, 2024 (the 9th day of the third lunar month), at Van Lang Park lake in the city. In Viet Tri (Phu Tho province), thousands of tourists braved the rain to witness a bright fireworks display in the sky of Phu Tho on the occasion of the 2024 Hung Temple Festival.
In order to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for local people, compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese during the festival of the origin of the whole nation, the fireworks display took place for 15 minutes, starting at 9:30 p.m. , combining both high- and low-range explosive fireworks displays at Van Lang Park pedestrian bridge.
Tourists in the rain witnessed 800 fireworks exploding at high altitude and 180 fireworks at low altitude lighting up the sky.
